Cancellation Policy
1. Booking and Reservations 1.1 Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Southern Lakes Chauffeurs. A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation from us. 1.2 Passenger Details: Southern Lakes Chauffeurs requires accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including client names; ages; contact details, and any special requirements. 2. Cancellation Policy 2.1 Cancellation by Passenger or agent on behalf of: - For half day, full day, wine & ski tours, and airport shuttle bookings, cancellations made up-to 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund. - For half day, full day, wine & ski tours, and airport shuttle bookings, cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking value. - For all multi-day bookings, cancellations made up-to 7 days prior to the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund. - For all multi-day bookings, cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled pickup time will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking value. 2.2 No-shows: Failure to appear at the designated pickup location without prior notification will result in the full cost of the booking being charged. 2.3 Cancellation by Southern Lakes Chauffeurs: In the event that we need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund or offer an alternative arrangement whenever possible. 3. Payment Policy 3.1 Payment Methods: Payment for services must be made via bank transfer or card payment. 3.3 Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for extra services requested by the passenger during the journey, which will be communicated and agreed upon with the client and agent before implementation. 3.4 Vehicle Soiling: Passengers are expected to take reasonable care of themselves and their belongings when travelling with us. Southern Lakes Chauffeurs reserves the right to charge a fee equal to the value of all cleaning & lost-opportunity if passengers cause soiling or staining which renders the vehicle unsuitable for other passengers and requires deep cleaning.
